wow, beautiful new stuff.

with the speakers I could get weak if I didn't already have 2 pairs and the transport to Germany would be so difficult.

46, great tube.
I heard the Thomas Meyer 46 mono blocks a few years ago.
46 drives 46.
phenomenal at a great tannoy, great sound experience.

but with the 93 db efficiency of my speakers unfortunately not the best choice with just under 2 watts of power

but I can still dream a little

Forgive my indulgence…

Wo sind sie im Deutscheland wohnen?

And for any of you that might live here in CONUS, Dennis has told me that we can ship these speakers. It will require a custom set of boxes and it won’t be cheap, but we can ship these. Now I do know Dennis has shipped amps all over the world, but before I say they can be shipped worldwide, I need to confirm that with him…

Stay tuned

Might I suggest you think of shipping them in "kit form". The side & bottom panels (with crossover) could ship in one box and the two baffles (with drivers mounted) could be shipped 'face-to-face' with styrofoam between in another. Make the wiring 'plug & play' and use 'spin-ins' for the panel assembly. Should take under an hour for the purchaser to assemble with nothing more than a couple of sockets or a screwdriver.

Wonder if that would change anything for customs too. Dunno if there is a difference between completed speakers and kits.

Hello Analog Addict,

your german is just fine.

I live in cologne / Köln city less than 2mls North from the Cathedral.

I only have 3 rooms and already 2 set up ́s. I think the best wife of all time will stone me if I set up a third pair of speakers in the bedroom.

besides, I don't know at the moment which speakers I could part with, because both are very good.

but who knows what the future brings. the open baffle speakers could be an alternative.

you have good contact with dennis and know his designs, is it also possible to use the 27, 56 or the 71 tubes in the LP2030?

I'm afraid the LP -2030 is set up for 5 watt filaments/four pin tubes. 27/56 are five pin tubes. However the 2030 will use 12/112 tubes and 71As as well as 01As

Anyone found a combo they strongly recommend for the LP2030? I am currently using Amperex 0A3 and Cunningham CX-301-A with a WE 5u4 Rectifier. It sounds amazing, but have not tube rolled much yet.

Did anyone ever try running the E235L / 7751 in their Fire-bottles?

Seems to be they're similar to the 6V6 so should be good with a 5Y3 rectifier?

Datasheet to save a googling
