The Delta NR v2 PCs are great cables. They're affordable, have improved NR functionality and outperform the previous gen Alpha NR v1 PCs. As such, they're an excellent value for money. I use one to power my Keces P3 linear power supply that powers my SOtM network bridge and EtherREGEN.

Yeah, it's a great cable, and a strong value proposition at its price point. The VTX-Ag conductors provide a notable increase in sound quality.

It would possibly be more efficient to just use a conditioner that has separate isolation for each output and so no need for extra noise reduction in the cables.

Do ya want noise from a big power amp coming out of the amp to be distributed to the low-signal level components like phono stages, DACs, etc, in your system? No, you don't. From an article by Caelin: "Most components use FWBR (full wave bridge rectifier) power supplies that generate an incredible amount of transient noise when the rectifiers switch off. The design of a power cable can significantly affect the reactance of these signals within the power supply. The power cable is effectively part of the primary winding of the power transformer. The transition between the various metals used in a power cable and its connectors can cause electromagnetic reflections and diode-like rectification of the noise impulses as they propagate away from the power supply. If the power cable presents a high impedance to these signals they will be reflected back into the power supply where they will intermodulate, thus increasing the high frequency noise levels of the component. Most power supply filters are ineffective at blocking very high frequency noise components and much of it is passed through to the DC rails. The sonic effects of this include: high background noise levels, blurred or slurred transients and a general lack of clarity and purity of the sound or visual image.” This is specifically why the NR filter is at the IEC plug that plugs into the component; to stop the noise from getting out of the component's power supply. The NR tech in the power distributor blocks noise from the wall AC mains; the NR on the power cord blocks noise coming back out from the component itself. Another quote from Caelin: "the component is not at the end of the power "hose". It is between two power hoses and the current is oscillating back and forth. Further, current is not like water at all. Electrons cannot be contaminated. There are two aspects to power transmission: the electromagnetic wave and the current flow. The current itself cannot be contaminated but the electromagnetic wave can be modulated with other frequencies. We usually call these other frequencies noise or Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Within the various parts of a power circuit there may be EMI in certain parts that is not present in others. Electromagnetic energy can be transformed or redirected to lessen their effects." This is why you want NR power cords on components.

My Delta v2 NRs arrived yesterday and I am somewhat in a bind trying to figure out how to best secure the cable to my Mc MA9000 that is on the top shelf of my SolidSteele rack (I goofed in assuming the MA9000 would fit the middle or bottom shelves - it will not without having to remove the feet which I do not what to do - and you can see it also extends out past the end of the shelf). I have used the Audio Bastion risers/supports in my theater rack and will do so for the components in this setup, but can't for the MA9000 that sits on the top and extends out past the back of the shelf. The cable is pretty loose and the weight causes it to sag. Any suggests on how I might secure it in this particular scenario?
Thanks.

I place a little BluTack on the underside of the plug. This will hold up the bottom of the plug and help hold it in the receptacle, without leaving any residue when you repurpose or sell the cord.
