Thanks Dan,

I wax polish them once a year & they come-up great - not bad for a cabinet built in 1989!

My next project is to rewire them with Neotech cable (as per Steve Smiths Canterbury's) and replace the binding posts with high quality WBTs.

Hey Guys,
For a room 17' x 18' which speaker would work best the kensington or canterbury? Room is a bit "boomy" already. thanks

Congrats on your new speakers - nice to have a large room where they can breath. Your wallet may be aching at the moment, but if you ever get the opportunity to try them with relatively inexpensive Atma-Sphere amplifiers, grab it. Better grip than SETS and without the obfuscation of transformers, they are a top flight match with speakers like yours (8 Ohm nominal, 96 dB sensitivity.) Frequency balance, blinding speed, gorgeous tonality (quick dynamic low bass with timbre) and incredible transparency.
