Default Aerial Acoustics 20T V2's

I would really like to hear from those who have heard this speaker. Ivan wrote a really nice review in the Esoteric forum. I would love to hear from others who own them.

What do you like about them? What do they do well? What kind of gear are you using them with? How's the high end, midrange and bass? Dynamics? Imaging? Do they stack up well against other high-end speakers you've owned or heard?

I have never heard them but I have read really great things about them. I'm trying to read as much as I can. And I've already read the 2 Stereophile reviews and the one in Home Theater Review. But I really want to hear from owners and those who have experienced them?

Thanks!

I don't own them, but I heard Ivan's. I told him at the time that they remind me very much of my Sasha 2's. I would put them in the same category, and I believe they cost about the same. But...Ivan had dual subs hooked up, too, so I can't say for sure how much the bass I heard was attributed to the 20t's alone. It sounded great, though!

The 20T is discontinued. Michael Kelly said at a demo at Audio Video Therapy this past Wednesday that he has sold out of all his remaining stock 6 months ahead of schedule. He's currently working on the T-12 which will run about $18,000 and will be out in a year or so.

Wow, China! The wood on the 20T's is beautiful!! I can't imagine getting the same quality in China but maybe they are going for a different look? Hopefully that's the only "part" of the speaker they get from there. I would think the 20T's will become even more desirable.

All the current speaker cabinets in the current T series are made in China. Michael stated if he had the cabinets made in Denmark the cost of the speakers would be $2-$3000 more. You can get excellent work done in China but you have to keep a sharp eye on quality control. Michael is a real stickler for A+ quality. By the way if anyone wants to see what the new 5T looks like go to the Audio Video Therapy website and click on the Facebook site. Near the end of a series of pictures of the event you'll see a couple of closeup pictures of the 5T. Price will be $3750 and he's shooting for July/August date. He's still working on the crossover. It will be 2db more efficient than the discontinued 5B.

Yes, I heard the same thing.

I'm still interested in hearing from others about my original post.
