I would very much like to match a pair of the CW 4s with my Cary amp.
If you are a McIntosh person, you could not do better than a pair of the newer MC75s.

I doubt if you'd find a better match than your MC452.

Are you gonna use another output from Mcintosh C500T?

One MC275 would be stellar for sure or as suggested two MC75s.

First Watt offerings are quite popular as I've read on the Klipsch forums.

From a used market, MC150, MC300 and many low powers from the 90s and 2000's.

My personal fave is the MC50, MC100 (very hard to find), MC250, MC2100. These sound incredible on Klipsch Heritage. John Warren is a master at making those types of amps the best ever. North Reading Engineering.

Thanks for the info on NRE. Was not familiar with them and Terry DeWick has retired.
Been hoping to run across a pair of MC100s for many years. The one pair I found was in Mexico and I passed. Probably a mistake.
Many, if not most, folks think Klipsch speakers work best with lower powered tube amps. With a sensitivity up at ~100db, a few watts will work. For best bass one would likely do well with something of at least 10wpc. Even at 100db one would like a bit of reserve power to move the mass of a 15" woofer.

Listened to the Cornwall III w/the Luxman MQ-300B 8wpc. ! watt gives you102db of efficiency. second pick the Luxman MQ-88SE. Luxman tubes and Klipsch make an excellent combo.

Yes. Luxman's tube amps are great. A friend has a pair of their 3045 (converted to KT88/6550) monoblocks I'm always lusting after. They would be wonderful with a pair of Cornwalls. Their little EL84 based SQ-N10 integrated amp at 11wpc would be another.

I wanted to try the EL84 against a Decware or similar but the fact that you cant tube roll/bias without taking the bottom off the Amp sounds like a real pain in the arse. They don't even include instructions on how to perform this necessary procedure in the manual. Mind Boggling to me.
