Default Anthem MRX 510 for Auditor M

Hello
I am new to Sonus faber Auditor M speakers..I plan to use the combo of Anthem MRX 510 with these speakers..they are rated at 90W per channel..I really like the ARC from anthem(based on what I have read so far)..

Does anyone have suggestions or have used anthem receivers to comment ion this combo?
Cheers
KS

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm getting close!

Options are used Guarneri Homage or new/used Cremona M Auditor. Now, I was considering the ARC VSi60 however the Primaluna Dialogue Premium Integrated has come to my attention. New price on one of these is good.

Any thoughts on the Primaluna in general, and paired with the Guarneri/Auditor?

Thanks
Ash

Ash.......You might find this http://www.audioaficionado.org/pre-a...er-review.html interesting.

When I reviewed the PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium Integrated Amplifier I did so using my Sonus faber Amati Anniversario speakers. Although you asked about the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium Integrated, this review may offer you some insight.

I did read your excellent review (I should have mentioned that), very helpful indeed. I'm hoping I can infer from the ProLogue to the Dialogue.

I am somewhat concerned that the Guarneris in particular are too difficult to drive, in other AA threads there have been comments that the Guarneris only really come alive with big power behind them. And as you mentioned in your review, "Speaker efficiency will need to be considered" has me cautious as the Guarneri is an 86dB speaker...

I'm just mulling over some options

You have to try the new PrimaLuna Premium DiaLogue HP integrated. With eight valves it doubles the power. Must be sufficient for your Guarneri's.

Default Auditioning a pair of guarneri evolutions

Hi, I am currently llisteng to a pair of Guarneri Evolutions on lone, running off a pair of Linn Klimax Solos.

Wonderful effortless sound, lively, dynamic, beautiful. The highs are really sweet and the bass (for a small speaker) has depth and definition. Over all they are wonderful speakers for my Solos.

My Aida are powered by ARC REF 750 but I also recently added a second setup with my Aida. During the hotter summer months, the 42 tubes of my REF 750 run a bit hot! So I got a pair of Mcintosh 1.2KW with a C1000 pre-amp.

This way I get to enjoy the Aida with both a tube setup and a solid state setup. I must say I like both setup equally!

New to this but I put a deposit down on SF Cremona M and Cremona M center. I'm doing my due diligence and test driving as many components as I can. The last dealer I was at today said "I'd hate the combo of SF and McIntosh, too warm." You'll want something more dynamic to match the SF Cremonas, like a Bryston". Looking at this thread, it looks like a lot of you have SF and McIntosh combo. Is there something missing as I was set on the SF/Mac setup?

Hey Highnelly, the cables used plays a big part as well...I personally prefer a cleaner sound with a slight tilt to a fuller mids. Which is why I pair my GE with Bryston amps. I think the pairing of components depends a lot on what you are looking for and there isn't one fix rule for all...whats more important is it must sound good to you and the popular combi may not be every one's choice either.
