Not much Paradigm love on these forums. You should at least find an take a listen to the 3 Signature models, the Sub 1, Sub 25 and Sub 2 and from the Reference line the Sub 12 and Sub 15 are great performers also.

Jim,

I have been leaning to a G1 but if I remember correctly the G1 is pretty big. I will need to measures it out but I think the G1 is the right sub for the job.......

The G1's have a rather large footprint but they are not as tall and as obtrusive as some other options.

When we were setting up demos for MASTERS at Sumiko last summer, John Hunter wanted us to demo the brand new G2 with Futuras. Our concern was that the Futura set we had was reaching a measured 22Hz at very loud levels. The G2 dialed in faster than any REL we have ever used and was a perfect match. To say we were stunned is an understatement.

If your room was really big the G1 would be a better match, but the G2 (or 2) is magnificent. The G2 is really special.

Well I went to my dealer today and did something bad.... I bought a G1!! It should be in next week and my room is now almost complete..... the built in cabinets are finished, new carpet installed, new paint, two 20A dedicated power outlets and I am now waiting on the furniture. The problem is it takes 8 - 10 week for the furniture to come in....(4 weeks to go I hope). Now I am sitting in a camping chair . As soon as the furniture arrives I will ask an expert to dial in the speakers again... I am close and ready for the room to be finished!!
