Congrats on getting the 2 Fathoms.. I think that was definitely the right way to go.

I have much of the same equipment you do (ex: C2600, MX151, 2x F113's, MEN220); having said this, I have not actually tried what I am about to recommend so take this as perhaps an experimental starting point.

And just to level set.. I assume this setup is in a theater (due to MX122 and mention of rears) but uses HT bypass to the C2500 and MEN220.. If this is the case, do you want to also use the subs in both theater (MX122) and 2 channel (C2500 & MEN220)?

I guess I cant really reveal my "complete" suggestion until I know the answers to the above, but in essence, I would advocate a starting point of summing the entire signal to both subs (via balanced splitter) and using the room correction on the F113's vs. going stereo and using the MEN220 to match the subs to the main speakers.

Thank you very much for helping here....

You are correct I am using HT bypass to use the C2500 when leveraging a source going in on MX122.

Option 1) I was going to take the low balanced signals from MEN220 and run them to the subs (l/r) and remove the low from my B&Ws.

Option 2) Run a balanced out from c2500 or somewhere or a blanced splitter somewhere in the setup.

then the question is which room correction to run and in what sequence...

I tried this with the right Sub as the master getting both L and R signals (and then chaining the left Sub as the slave). I ran the ROAR program on the right Sub and dialed down the volume. It sounds great but still feel like i can get more from the mids.

Im contemplating running MEN220's Room now that i have the subs connected. Does anyone know if there is any downsides to doing this?

Im holding off on this option for i think it may be suboptimal given 2channel/5channel

then the question is which room correction to run and in what sequence..

I would think that for a room that size, a F113 is overkill.
I have a larger room (18 x 26) and Barry Ober who worked for JL Audio suggested two smaller subs instead of one F113. I can't recall the reason but I think that he mentioned that the smaller subs were faster.

This is just an FYI

1) I run dual F113 v2’s in a smaller room; perfect blending, performance and Zero overkill. My mains are SF Stradivari’s.

2) JL’s smaller subs are no faster than their larger/largest ones.

Here’s a photo of the setup... guitars have been moved out... no issues with the size of the subs I could have gone smaller but the system is performing very nicely with great blending of the stereo subs.

I would take his OPINIONS with caution. He made a disparaging remark once while we were on the phone when I mentioned using Wilson speakers which use ports! I'm laughing at the faster remark. Then why do they even sell the F113, if the F112 is supposedly faster? Once again the well known belief of many that a smaller driver by one inch is faster. Some thoughts and opinions are harder to break especially as we get older.

Another FYI; Barry Ober was fired from JL Audio quite some time ago for a reason.

Wow. Yes Barry was great when he was there, however, as a resource.

Like Wilson my Revel Ultima Studio II’s are ported and years ago he blasted them as well.
