Yes on the car side - full treatment in the car and in the doors in the truck. Made a nice difference in lowering noise and improving the sound.
Not sure I'm aware of the home applications where Dynamat is used - I have heard of people lining the inside of the case of some of their audio components with it for dampening purposes but don't know how much of a difference that makes...

I have used Dynamat in my home system. I my living room I have a Pioneer Elite Pro510HD widescreen. Below the screen, and behind the speaker grill cover is a large rectangular wood cover (25" x 14") that closes the access to the CTR guns and their driver electronics. When I installed the subwoofer into the system this panel vibrated, and I could hear it. I ordered a large sheet of Dynamat, cut it to size, and put a layer on the front and back side of this wooden panel. That completely stopped to vibration, and the noise. Dynamat is a good product, with many uses. I like it.

I installed it in my 2007 Lexus IS350. I think the bass from the stereo is a bit better.

My 07 Infiniti M35 has more road noise in the cabin than i would like. I used dynamat during my car audio days in the 90s. I have many times considered getting some dynamat installed in my car although the thought of allowing a car audio shop tear apart my ride these days scares me away everytime!!
