Using 3 cheater plugs, one on GAT, one on one mono block, and one on the CD player brought hum to a level only heard very close to the speaker. Thanks fellas & thanks to Jeff at Conrad Johnson for helping me get the ground loop under control. Jacintha's soothing voice is bathing my room in melodic splendor at the moment...pinot noir could be lending a hand as well

If you haven't tried it, move the cheater from the GAT to the other mono. That arrangement gives my system complete relief from the hmm; dead quiet.
