Default Crites' Cornscalla's

Does anyone know if Bob will build these things for someone start to (near) finish, including grills? Sans the finishing of the cabs.

I know he'll sell you parts to do it but I have nobody around me that is that good at woodworking for the cabinets.

I know, I know..."Just talk to him, idiot.". But I want to hear from an outside source first (call me wierd).

The guy that might build you top notch cabinets is "Gothover" on the Klipsch forum. he is also the one that builds the "fastracs". These are upgrade midhorns for the cornwalls, cornscalas, and la scalas. They are pure tractrix and beautiful

Bob crites recently purchased a CNC machine. He has big plans. His son michael is learning the ropes of that. Custom stuff to come..... The Cornscala seen in the link is nice and I've heard it. you can't get that pyle horn anymore though....

I built a cornscalas early 2005. Was awesome. The best bang for the buck....

Crites has some new 12" woofers coming out........I'm gonna see if I can design a bass horn around those

I sure don't know.

You could inquire about a "Cornwall with a fastrac" and he supply the cabinet and the fastrac. Then the rest you could get from Crites.

I designed the flares for the fastracs......I get no kickbacks....all for pleasure of quality Tractrix as mids....you can't beat it.

Tell gothover.....I suggested you contact him.

Got an e-mail back from Bob a couple weeks ago and he said he doesn't make cabs.....yet, probably in a couple months!!!

YEA BABY!!

So next year's purchases will start off with 2 sets of tires for the little "hot rod" and then the Cornscalas.

Wonder if he'll get into using veneers along with any staining/urethane/togue oils otions that might be offered....hhmmmmmmm.
