I've seen a few on the road. If you want a motorcycle, get a two wheel bike, if you want extra safety, get a convertible like the Porsche Boxster. My good friend has the Limited Edition Boxster RS 60 Spyder if you wanted to test drive it.

I got rid of my 2 motorcycles a few years ago when my 2 sons started showing a interest in them. While I do not always have fun when I play golf, I always had fun on my motorcycles. If were not for the small problem of having cars on the road I would love another one. Unfortunately even if you are careful you can't prevent a careless driver from hitting you. Riding a motorcycle is kind of like smoking; you know its bad for you but it gives you please. Most likely I won't buy one and I'll continue to rent a bike for the day a few times over the summer.

And having 3 wheels is going to change something? Yep, you either take your chances with the bikes or you get a convertible to get the next best thing.

If you ever do decide to get back into motorcycles, I may join you. I am not a Harley type but I may go for a nice BMW touring bike since I've had my fun with sportbikes already.

These things really aren't that fast. They look wicked but they're really not. It has a trunk in the front. Actually, they're a snowmobile with wheels. They have the steering, front trunk and seat much like a snow mobile crossed with the sitting position of a crotch rocket.

Not my thing but no doubt some people love em.

Being an avid motocyclist since 1969, these aren't my thing either, even though I have never riden one. Not fond of riding a motorcycle trike and these strike me in that way. Cool looking & interesting but not the same as crusing on two wheels thru a nice winding mountain road or zipping with the cruise control on down the interstate at 80.

Something about fun on two wheels versus three, I guess. With these, they may as well put a steering wheel on it.

Saw more of these than I could count last year at Daytona Bike Week.

David.......Riding only a couple of times a year makes you a danger to others, and yourself. Riding is a skill, and has to be practiced to remain sharp.

Don't think for a moment you can't be run over in the Porsche, either, or crashed into by an irresponsible driver, or lose control yourself just because you have four wheels under you. How many wheels you choose to travel on is no insurance that you will return home safely.
