I agree. Unless I have some POS copy of a movie or the BD version is on some dynamite sale, I am not going to replace it with Blu.

If it's a decent DVD release, the BD player does a more than adequate job of upscaling in my opinion.

I agree!
The one, but, for me, was the Shining.(sp?)
Bluray brought something to this old 1980's movie!

I have 5 different copies of this movie.

2 SD DVDs
1 blu-ray
2 laserdiscs

Yeah, what the hell, I'll probably get this one too.

Got it for a friend for their birthday less than 19.00 at a store in Austin TX. One of the cooler box covers...
