As long as we're including events we witnessed, I was at Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. I was in the upper deck of Shea, Buckner right beneath me. Pure joy.

I have a few. Being the youngest captain of my basketball team is one that jumps out. A few different 1st place trophies I won via competitions at basketball camps/leagues. Every time I received a belt or even a stripe in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. By far the most difficult sport I've ever competed in. I love sports whether competing or just watching. Athletics definitely helped me stay out of trouble, work hard in school, and meet many of my best friends still till this day. I enjoy constantly challenging myself and mixed martial arts/muay thai/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu do that for me now, only my body doesn't seem to bounce back as well as when I was 21 lol

As my user name describes, I am baseball player, since like forever

I still play in the adult leagues, for the past 18yrs now. Our league holds a World Championship Tournament in Phoenix every October and you play teams from all over the US, some Canadian and now some teams from Caribbean go.

2003 our team won the 28A (28 and over age) Division, we have rings and everything. The "A" means we had less than 2 players that were under MLB contract in the previous 7yrs. Divisions can go to AAA, so the competition is pretty intense.

Other than that, winning many local tournaments in HS baseball, I graduated HS in 1982.

Well, if we are including sports events we've witnessed, nothing beats watching my Sox clinch the 2005 World Series. A euphoric feeling indeed.

OK, not participant related is Game 7 of the 2004 Stanley cup final. I had been to every home playoff game but game 7 was just the most amazing thing I ever witnessed as a spectator. Then to top it off because of connections (my dad) I got to spend a day with the cup at my house Not many people can say that

Mine would be when I made the paper as a little league pitcher. I only threw 6 balls out of 100 pitches. The batters pretty much knew I was going to throw them a strike but it didn't matter lol. We ended up winning the little league World Series that year. We had a few players go pro from that team but the only one who made it big was Josh Johnson, pitcher for the Padres.

As a person who lives in FL I had no real way to train for the climbs and to top it off I had only started mountain biking the year before (at the age of 43). It took me a long time to finish and I really wondered what the hell I was doing at times. When I crossed the line it was one of the best feelings I ever had. I went on to do many endurance bike races after this one but there is nothing like your first Getting ready to start Mid race -- I seem to have left the pack . . or did they leave me? Nice work that's a massive day. You should try BC Bike Race one day.

Bat Boy for the St Louis Cardinals in 1969 in a game against the NY Mets - met Nolan Ryan among other famous Hall of Famers that day. My Dad was a friend of Red Schoendenst, the Cardinal Mgr at the time. We visited the locker room pregame and Red asked my father if I could BB for the game.

I am in awe. What an experience. Lifelong Cardinal fan here, grew up 100 miles north (Hannibal). My best sports moment also took place at Busch Stadium. Game 7 1982 World Series. Beloved Cardinals won the game. I was 18 rows behind Brewers dugout. We all rushed the field. I was an overjoyed 11 y/o walking the field, stuffing pitchers mound dirt into my empty peanut bag ("Sutter dust" named by intoxicated gentleman standing next to me named after the winning relief pitcher Bruce Sutter), and running the bases all the while Cool and the Gang's 'Celebration' blasted out of the PA system. One of the best memories of my life.
