Here is my Lyra Helikon, I like it, I bought it used for a great price, but I do not know how old it is. Does anyone if it possible to get it re-conditioned?

randerson,
Wow, I am totally impressed. You have an exceptional cartridge collection.

Which Kiseki is that in your picture?

I now have about 15 hours on the Palo Santos and it is settling in nicely. I posted my intial impressions in an eponymous thread. While I think this thing sounds awesome, I just don't have the exposure to high end carts that you have had, so you should take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

What were your impressions of the Palo Santos?

Regards,

Tom

Thanks! The one in the photo is a Van den Hul rebuilt special Black Agaat.

I am gone so much that I don't have that much time on the Palos Santos either, but it is very musical and seems to share the warm sound that I love from all wood bodied cartridges. Hopefully I will be home again soon and listen to it more.

Lyra should still support this model and you may be able to get it done by Van den Hul.

AudioQuest is now handling the distribution of Lyra cartridges in NA. They do have more of a trade-in credit policy rather than rebuild as I seem to remember.
