I noticed it's a automatic though
It's a 7 speed Dual Clutch Gearbox that shifts even faster than the F430 at .06 seconds. I'm sure you'd be impressed...

I'm liking the yellow. Here's a video of a pair of 458's being flogged around the track. YouTube - P9091929

I think it's stunning in any color. I wonder how many hours in the wind tunnel the car spent before the final design was cast?

I do not think too many people would contest the iconic status of the Ferrari badge.

While the body is designed by Pininfarina, Ferrari pulled a key Formula 1 guy over to the design team for the 458 to enhance the aerodynamics of the car. The air sweeps around the cabin and over the integrated tail, while the winglets and rear air diffuser as well as the flat bottom help the car achieve approximately 680 lbs of downforce at 187 miles per hour.

Would that be Michael Schumacher? He's been quite involved in several Ferrari projects lately.

Michael helps out a lot with the design but this was an aerodynamics engineer.

In that regard -- who knows who it was specifically -- their F1 team comprises around 700+.

When I visited the factory in Italy, I got to see the womens sewing machines that build the interior were autographed by Michael.
