Love this arrangement and gear selection, clean and highly effective!

Edit: I used to have a mc252, one of my all time favourites.

Serge.....very, very nice setup. Very sharp looking rack and amp stand....the MC252 looks really sharp on that stand. I used to own an MC252, it's a really sweet amp.

Nice!

Serge, You've assembled a very nice & clean looking system. I'm a fan of Harbeth speakers as well. Nice attention to detail (hungry cat notwithstanding!).

Cheers,

Looks like Sally likes to put extra tweaks to the cable isolation. All joking aside really nice and clean system.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

The cable isolator are not Shunyata's dark field. They are from http://www.cableisolators.com/

I wanted to buy the dark fields at first but I could not convince myself enough to justify the 300$ price tag for such a product, despite how good it is. The good thing about the dark field is that they are made of something more like plastic (not sure about the material though) instead of foam like mine so going with the DF Sally would probably not have chewed them, ah...

But the cable isolators are 80$ for 10 pieces, so it is not that bad. And I find they look killer once in place .

Sound wise, I was told that both products are similar. You can find the thread right here http://www.audioaficionado.org/isola...nsulators.html
