I have two quads of =C= ready to roll
into my MC 275V when the GL reissues need to be replaced. They are hard to find now.

I agree - I had the =C= tubes in my MC 2102 and thought they sounded better than the GL’s. I pulled them when I sold the amp and they’ve been waiting for their encore.

Glad the OP settled on the MC75's. I had a feeling all along those were the amps he was looking for.

Sorry the NOS Gold Lion's didn't ring the bell though.

Checking in....like a good, dedicated tube-a-holic, I found a pair of virtually new 2001 SED Winged C KT-88's and have to say these are spectacular. Sort of blends the best attributes of the NOS Genalex and Gold Lion re issues. Smooth as silk, gloriously 3D and spacious with great balance throughout. These will not be leaving the MC75's. Thanks for the recommendation!!!

the best kt88 for mc275 :Pulgares hacia arriba:
