No Jim’s concern is over having another pair of speakers in the room - period.

Of course, I have also heard Ivan’s room(s)full of speakers and never left unsatisfied.

Like guitars, cars, and bicycles- the formula is N+1! I picked up a pair of used CLSII and swap them with my 11A's.
I would add why stop there? Add an amp! I recently got my MC1502 to replace my ailing
VTL MB 250's. A friend has tinkered with them and they are behaving for now.
Who needs a triode switch?? I just pop these in.
