Default Cobra Zitron

Today I installed a Shunyata Cobra Zitron on my Talos in placed of the Black Mamba HC/CX. Wow is a pretty good summary but I'll add a little more detail. Instrument placement more defined, strings have more air around them, micro detail comes out. It's like my standard Dire Straits CD was transformed into a SACD The only bad part is now I'm thinking of upgrading the PC's for the CDP and the integrated

Good move. Welcome to the Zitron club. Now you need to buy more.

In the two channel system, I have a Cobra on my SACD, DAC, file player, and pre-amp, with a Python on each amp, and an Anaconda on the Triton and Cyclops. In the HT I have a Cobra on the pre-amp, amp, and TV, with an Alpha on the Blueray, and a Python on the Hydra AV, and the two port Talos. The SACD, DAC and file player are using a Venom, and they feel discriminated against.

I have to agree with your observation about the Cobra. These products work wonders. Enjoy.

BlueFox, you mean to say Cobra, not Cyclops right?

Anyway, I'm feeling the itch to join the Zitron club too. Right now I've got a Talos with a Hydra HC from the wall.

All Shunyata products, IMHO, are wonderful. As you go up the product line, there's just more and more goodness. They really work and they really do wonders to remove the grunge and hash that makes a fine system wonderful to listen to. They impart a "listening ease" that you don't know is possible until you use them. They also make a system "quiet" in a profound way. Listen to a quiet track like Ella singing "April in Paris" and with Shunyata in your system, you can hear her breathing on the microphone!

Wondrous!
