SR-Z1 AC plugs...I should have known...
Well, I should have known. I've had 2 Shunyata SR-Z1's laying around. About a year ago I replaced my hubbel hospital grade, cryo'd plugs for a SR-Z1 for my Triton. I was pretty sure I heard a diff but a lot was going on then...so I just moved on...
This time, I replaced two of these cryo'd hubbels with 2 SR-Z1's. That was all that changed. I only have about 6 hours of playing time...so I am sure these will get better. I have my Ayre MX-R's plugged into one each of the SR-Z1's using a Anaconda ZiTron cord. More dynamics and clarity. It's unmistakably better...$70 each.. Don't forget the ac outlets !!! |

My experience as well. I found the these were very detailed and bright for the first 24 hours, but after that they smoothed out. Made a notable difference.
