Default Power Cord for REL Gibraltor 1

I know power cords can not make that much of a difference. ;-)
So I reluctantly installed a pair of Venom HCA PC's to my pair of REL G1's. The only change I noticed was a monumental increase is low octave energy requiring me to adjust my input level down by 3 and increase the crossover by 2 HZ, from 48 to 50. This was an improvement over the stock cable so the bar is not too high but clearly the Venom's were keeping the power rails of the G1's much happier.

I do not use any power conditioning on any of my amplifiers including the G1's. I was fortunate enough to have had the foresight during the construction of my basement listening room in 1997 to install 12 dedicated 15 amp circuits to Hubble outlets so each outlet has a direct line to the panel. To this day the electrician who did the wiring still talks about the "nut job who......"
Each sub goes to its own fuse.

My question, finally, is will I see any "significant" improvement in going to Zitron cables on the sub? I run Pythons to my MC275's, Anaconda to my Talos which feeds Pythons to all my small electronics ( McIntosh C500T, Aesthetix Romulus and Rhea ).

I am concerned that unless I go with two Anacondas I will not be getting as much "power" to the subs. I do understand the benefits of the Zitron cables but buying a PC of the same price as the sub seems ?heretical? I would probably feel better in running two Anacondas to my MC275's and put the Pythons on the subs but still I might be shortchanging the REL's rails (try saying that 10 times in a row really fast).

I have heard from Bass Boy that the Anacondas blow away the Pythons on the sub.

Any thoughts, insights, experiences, beliefs, visions or revelations would be much appreciated.
Yes I do know the adage of trying before buying but getting in a pair of Anacondas "to try" will be putting my AD out more than I would like, he has offered.

Thanks in advance.

BTW if you try saying "REL's rails" really fast over and over you start sounding like Sebastian on The Little Mermaid.

Mike,
I would just stick with the Venom HCAs for your sub if it were me.

Mike
At the time of one of the Fine Sounds events at Paragon I still owned the REL G1's. During a conversation with John Hunter the Lead Designer/Former Owner of REL I asked about upgrading the Neutrik Speakon cable. He suggested I would get much grater benefit from upgrading the standard power cord. I always had my G1 connected with a Transparent Reference cord.
