Been lucky enough to hear most models of the YGs over the years and several amps with them. My favorites so far have been Tenor, and AudioNet. If you had the active model the BAT REX tube amps sound amazing with the top sections but doubt they have the power to control the passives. Good Luck

Hi,
I am not playing music at high volume level.
As my speaker SF Aida has the option to tri-amp, hence I decided to go for that option. Although one pair of ARC Ref 250 are sufficient for my system, when I switched to bi-amp (2 pairs of Ref 250), the performance improve significantly.

Just FYI, in the latest Jan 2016 TAS issue, XA-160.8 received very good review

To all Pass Labs Amps users,

I recently change my XA160.8 amps rubber footers to Finite Elemente cerabase ceramic ball footers. The improvements (more dynamic, can hear more details, etc) are quite significant!

I strongly encourage you try to change the rubber footers as you are not hearing the best of your superb XA amplifiers

Hi,
Have you made a comparison between XS150 vs XA200.8 before you made the purchase?

Thanks for sharing your experience

With a full size separate power supply for XS-150 for 150W Class A, it clearly has an advantage over the single chassis XA-200.8 with 200W. I use XS-150 driven by ARC Reference 10 and they are the best sounding combo in my room, at least, best sounding as far.

Can you share your experience of XS150, please?
Thank you!

Actually, "picking up" any Pass gear is always a concern.

Totally agree, the improvement is substantial with the change of feet, in my case when I put Stillpoint ULTRA 5 it was tremendous
