Should have very high WAF if they really work.

I had the chance to audition both the HFT and REQ treatments in my listening room.

Short answer: they make a completely positive and easily identified improvement to the acoustics of my room. Soundstage increased in every dimension (but forward), there is more air and sense of space around instruments, background is more quiet. They also added to the strength and natural extension of the bass.

I did not remove the acoustic treatments I had before their arrival--bass traps in corners, absorption panels at first reflection points on either wall--and, after speaking with Peter on the phone, don't think the treatments are meant as replacements. Doing so in the video was just to isolate their impact more.

I bought them and have been happy I did.

Dan,

The EFT's retail for $299 for a pack of 5. I used 4 packs.

The FEQ retails for $750.

I have no idea how to quantify price versus benefit, except to say I doubt there have been many if any returns on their money back home trial.

Do these mainly work on sound staging?

Steve.......Thank you for the prices. GULP! .

No wonder the Cable Company doesn't display the pricing and ships them for free with a credit card on file. It is a bit difficult to wrap my mind around $60.00 each for those little metal concaves with a small dot of blue-tack stuck to the back. I don't ever see myself sticking those things to the beautiful finish on my Amati Anniversario's no matter how good thay might sound.

No they work equally on the qualities mentioned in previous email.

Yes, it is easy to balk at the price but in my experience they made a bigger improvement than any power cable or power conditioner in my system. And we know how much those tend to cost.

Steve.......Can the HFT gadgets be spray painted a different color without altering their performance?
