It takes time to find optimal locations. My final locations were little different than SR instructions.

kngale1.......Can you walk us through your installation? Did you begin with Phase One, then Phase Two and Phase Three? What did you hear different with each Phase installed? What made you stop at Phase Three and not go farther?

jdandy, I decided not use to use them on my speakers, ceiling is 15' high ... basically only need 3 sets for my room.

I just installed one level at a time and tweak positions until it sounds correct. I heard the biggest improvement after level 1 and adding an extra HFT in the center front wall upper position (2 is recommended and I use 3). The image and sound stage improved with less compression. The extra HFT added height to the image and sound stage.

I don't know why it would take so long to put them up.

When my daughter was about 7-8 years old, she used the same blue tack adhesive to stick about 50 phosphorescent stars (same size as the HFT thingies) on her bedroom walls in about 15 minutes!

I have no idea how to quantify price versus benefit, except to say I doubt there have been many if any returns on their money back home trial.
I tried the HFTs in my 20'X30'X9' listening room. I had 2 packs to try. I was not impressed with the change they made. My girlfriend felt that they actually made the sound worse. My listening room is in need of serious room treatment. The room probably would be improved by adding carpeting plus some traditional room treatments, tube traps, etc.. Perhaps, after treating the room as mentioned above, I'll give the HFTs another try.
