Tonight its grilled brauts and polish sausage.

Bathed in water, beer, fresh onion, bouquet of herbs.

Served up with french fries, fresh garden salad and a nice CA Zin.

What's going on the grill or BBQ today?

Today I'm marinating some thick porkchops in some Hawaiian/Teriyaki sauce -gonna grill 'em hot to get a nice crisp crunch, broiling some brussel sprouts with garlic & kosher salt topped with freshly grated parmesan, wild rice, and a rich peppery Syrah.

Here it will be Standing Rib Roast (grill has rotisserie)..... need to go to the store for in-season/best available vegetable, then some spinach (in cream, shallots, and pinch of seasonings), and likely a tiramisu for desert.

Nothing real fancy. Hopefully just plain ol' good eats...

Better half works today, so I am hoping she finds this 'acceptable'.

Yum, love that good Lamb from New Zealand.

I commonly use Herbs De Provence as well on Lamb, and am running low.

I's having difficulty finding this seasoning locally, but have found a multitude of recipes online. The particular seasoning I have, has Lavender in it (I'm assuming Lavender Flowers), and that I can get locally, but notice some of these recipes also call for Savory as an ingredient?

I'm not aware what Savory is? Will have to do some more research on this. One specialty market about 75 miles from here sells the Herbs De Provence, but unsure of it's quality, and flavor? Mark

Penzy's spices has Herbs de Provence and it is very good they ship as well google them
