Wow, this is the perfect reason to keep "computing" out of your audio system. If you want beautiful sound simply put a disc in that fantastic K03 and enjoy!!!

Guys,
I have to respectfully disagree with you. First, my Windows 7 based SilenZio running JRMC vXX is very stable with the Esoteric USB driver and has been from the day I first installed the K-03 and then K-03x and its drivers. Then as far as SQ goes, there is no discernible difference between playing a disc and streaming its FLAC or DSD lossless version. That is the consensus opinion of everyone who has witnessed such a 'test' in my room. Craig

As much as we love our wonderful Esoteric "spinner DACS", I have to agree with Craig. I'm listening to San Andreas Fault on the Paradise is There album (Natalie Merchant) via Roon running on my Silenzio GEN3 (Windows 10) into my K-03X. My ears cannot tell the difference. Sounds wonderful.
