Mike.......My headphone rig is in my office so I can listen while I am on the computer. Still enjoying the Sennheiser HD800 with the Sennheiser HDVA 600 headphone amp, balanced Sennheiser headphone cable, Wyred 4 Sound DAC2, and using an Oppo BDP-83 as a transport. Great sounding headphone station.

Happy New Year as well. Listening on my new Westone ES50 custom in-ears with Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies amp/dac and Squeezebox Touch.

I just ordered a Schiit Valhalla 2 and Modi Uber 2 DAC last week; should arrive some time next week. Looking forward to pairing it with my HD600s, which I continue to love.

BTW, I've been reading a number of reviews at the two major headphone forums by very knowledgeable folks that the $119 Schiit Vali tube head amp is fantastic with the (Anax-modded) Senn HD800s.

I am still very impressed by the Apogee ONE. Look forward to seeing what's next at NAMM next week. I can't wait to get my paws on the new Audeze EL-8 to use with Apogee ONE for iOS.

My work desk system this week. This is my personal rig, not work rig.

Woo Audio WA7 + WA7tp (tube power supply), HD800 with Nordost Heimdall2 cable and all Nordost on the back. Very nice system.

Mike, I look forward to your future dispaches from NAMM. I teeter between pro and consumer audio, as I enjoy the benifits of both. (One has to work, other look good, both must perform.) Plus I'd like to see how the music industry is going to react to the post CES High Resolution Audio movement, postives and negatives.

I haven't listened to Audeze, yet, but I have been following their praise for the last few years. Wow, I like your Woo Audio Set-up! Now if I could find a Woo Audio, Oppo, Audeze, &Sennheiser dealer out here in the borderlands of El Paso.
