David.......I seem to have settled down a bit this past couple of years. I am quite happy with the systems I have assembled.

I am so hosed. Incoming Aurelic Altair, sennheiser hdva 600, and sennheiser cables. I read dan's post and I thought - he just has no self control. Well, now we see who has the control (or lack thereof).

My wife will like it when I'm upstairs with her though instead of downstairs rattling the windows and scaring the neighbors.

I'm going to bed early to listen to my Auralic Altair, HD800 and HDVA 600. There could actually be a health benefit to this new bedroom system!

Jim.......

Steve.......

I am pleased to know you two are enjoying the Sennheiser headphone rigs. Both of your posts made me smile.

Happy listening and good health.

I am playing around with a NuPrime DAC-10H. If I decide to keep it then a pair of HD800S are on my Christmas list!

Randy.......Do you think you will get more use out of the Sennheiser HD800S headphone than you did with the McIntosh MHP1000? I recall you saying the reason you sold the MHP1000 headphone and the McIntosh MHA100 headphone amp was because you weren't using them.

All is well with the Altair. I tried to save a couple hundred bucks on the hdva 600 and bought it used. Unfortunately, it was DOA. Good news is I bought it through Amazon and can return it easily. Kind of takes the luster off my planned afternoon of headphone hi fi, but next weekend!

Really love the Roon ready aspect of the Altair. It's not unique to the Altair, but it's just so nice to have my digital collection and tidal, right there, wirelessly, instantly.

Off to buy a headphone amp.
