Hi Tom,

Did you get the chance to hook up the G-01 over the weekend and if so, how does it sound ???

Ken, I pulled a bonehead move... I ordered .5 meter clock cables, which are fine to connect the components when they are next to each other, but when there are three components stacked, the cables are too short to connect the top and bottom ones, Bonehead. So I ordered a pair of 1.25 meter clock cables, should see them Friday, so stay tuned! I can't wait to hear my system with the clock!

That's great, Tom. I bet you can hardly wait to hook it up. Are you still awaiting your most important delivery?

Hey Everyone, Just want to share that at 4:53 am this morning the latest little Audiophile came to light... Luca Tomasso arrived and is ready to get in the groove.

Thanks for all your thoughts, you are all special people and I'm glad to share my music preferences and these special moments with you all.

Thanks again for caring, Tom and Family

Oh by the way, the G-01 has been awesome to date. It has made a dramatic effect on the overall sound in my system. Everything is improved... The soundstage is wider, fuller, denser, more powerfull. But the biggest effect is the overall realness of the presentation, the deliniation of each instrument from the whole, and the vocals stand out very clear. Everything is bigger, smoother, better defined and more realistic... And I just got it ! If it continually improves and gets better with time I will be blown away. This component stands out clearly as a no brainer if you can affird it. I'm not sure how anyone can't hear and feel the effect of a good Master Clock in a good system. To me it took my good system and clearly made it better! I'll keep you posted!

Hi Tom,

Congratulations and best wishes to you and your wife on the arrival of your little miracle, Luca! It certainly is a special day!

It sounds like your P-02/D-02/G-01 combo hits it right out of the park. I bet you're so happy you went for it. The improvements you describe are significant. I'll have to fight back the urge for a K-01/G-01 marriage in my system unless the G-01 comes with a dowry...LOL. My K-01 is scheduled to arrive this Friday. I'm on pins and needles.

All the best,
Ken

@Tom, congrat's to the arrival of your little audiophile and your new clock.
glad to hear that you have the requested improvement in your system.
maybe i should have ordered the g01 instead of the g02 to get a better result.

Karl, I'm not sure about the G-02 , but looking at the specs., the clock in the K-01 and the D-02 are both very close in accurracy to the G-02. I know there is a little more to it than that, better circuitry, isolation from the anolog output, and everything being in a separate box brings.
I can tell you though, I was on the fence with the clock in general. I read so much negative feedback on clocks in general, that I just couldn't believe I would notice a difference, or any difference, to justify the big cost, espiecally when there are sure things like speakers to get gains. Then I heard the G-01 with the K-01 at Ivans and that sold it. And that listen also showed what the G-01 does with a Reference system, and thats the big thing. Ivans system is probably one of the best in the World, and you can here a significant change in soundstage, imaging, focus, depth and simply better musicality. But then I got thinking, do you need a reference system to get the gains? Well after reading all the testimonials on this site and others, the G-01 will wake up any digital system, and with absolutely awesome results. I wouldn't listen without it !
