Hi Stephen,
I don't think that the EB1i are in the same league : the Jbl may have a more extended bass and increased dynamics. But I' m not sure that they would fit right in my tortured room. They may be too big. French reviewers stated BTW that the K2S9900 are easier to set up than the Everest and they found them to give better results most of the time. For the moment, my speakers and my amps are everything I always dreamed of : not the good time for a change. Cheers Jerome
