With Alabama, Oregon, TCU, and Florida St all winning it will be interesting to see what happens. Keep in mind Fla St is undefeated and I do not think TCU will drop 2 places. It is possible OHIO St did just enough with the big victory to move on Fla St.

Going to be interesting to watch. There was controversy before the playoff system and there will be controversy now. There will be billions of words spoken dissecting this from every conceivable angle and in the end teams will be disappointed and then billions of words will be spoken complaining or praising the decision. Sorry, I am having a 'curmudgeon' moment. Sports reporting is starting to bug me. Actually, reporting in general is starting to bug me. I can't listen anymore. Time to fire up some music.

Agreed. When was the last time you truly heard some fresh, provocative sports reporting? Sometimes I just feel like I'm listening to the same cliches over and over again. And don't get me started on diarrhea mouthed analysts like Charles Davis of FOX. Thank God I have a mute button.

They screwed it up big with the change this year. Now they have six teams to fill 4 spots. They would have been better with just two Oregon and Alabama.

The Ducks are in the Rose Bowl. How considerate of the committee. Now they don't have to travel very far.

Should be a good game.

Interesting "Final Football Four" selection.

I guess Ohio's shellacking of Wisconsin was big enough to trump TCU's 3rd place ranking in the top four before yesterday's big games.

The folks in the "Big 12" need to get their conference in order and forget about "sharing" that conference title, eh? Do they even have 12 teams? Thought not.

Obviously I am thrilled that Ohio State made it in, but the system needs more work. Maybe an eight team tourney?
