Camp every summer for 3 weeks at one of Canada's many provincial parks with a Palomino Banshee tent camper.

Default I'm a backpacker

I've car camped since I was about 3 years old. Still go on wilderness canoe trips in the Boundary Waters with my boys. But mostly I'm a backpacker. There's nothing better than a week or two out in the wilderness and totally self sufficient to give you a great perspective on life. He's a pic from our latest Grand Canyon adventure. 6 days, 60 miles below the rim. Saw three other people.

Very cool, I want to do this someday too. I am not a seasoned camper but I did took my two boys on a few camping trips (Yosemite, Yellow Stones, Zion national park, etc.) a few years back when they were between 7 and 12 year-old. We had lots of fun and family love together. I hope to do more in the future.

Thedo,
You've got some great hiking and camping spots nearby. I hope you can get out and enjoy them!

I still go out half a dozen or dozen times a year. I take off Friday afternoon, backpack into somewhere 2 to 4 miles, spend the night, backpack out in the morning, and am home by noon for a nap. When with my partner it is a nice place near the trees.. Bicycling cross country, the best available hotel. I guess I am adaptable.

My wife and I love to go glamping in our 40' Diesel Coach. Here are pics of our recent trip to Flamingo Lake RV Resort in Jax. Fl. We made day trips to the beaches and state parks on the east coast while we were there.
