This is a great system you have and I'm sure you must have been sweating during the whole moving !
Did you try them with the Nagra amp ? They look fantastic. |

Yes! I have tried The SF with a lot of amps and they always performs very well. I like them best with big powerful amps.

I also changed the fuses in the fusebox and bought a good socket in the wall...
...and fuses and old parts outside my house. No short cuts when it comes to clean current. Important!!!

To evaluate my system I figured out that the acoustic had to reach over a sufficient level to make it possible to hear differences and compere components.
Otherwise it's not possible to know what I hear. Acoustic ore the component??? I hired a acoustic professional to help me with this. They calculated and made my roof in my living room able to diffuse, absorb and even bas absorb the frequencies that made my sound less good. These small holes is for the bas absorption. And this gap can easy be changed if needed, so I can tune and really hit the right frequency for bas absorption. The calculated optimal gap in mm, to minimize my bas peak. The Idea was to have a normal living room acoustic, not a studio sound, but without the "fatal" errors witch so often is the hand break in systems with big potentials. They made a good job but my hunger for even better perspective and clarity ended up with movable diffusion wings that also have som absorption ability. Here are som spec. Time delay lines working between 200-16000Hz Absorption coefficient 0.1- 0.22 (200-16000Hz) Helmholtz and panel absorber 80-200Hz. So, it's very useful and the best acoustic thing I ever tried. I use five of them 1 meter behind my back from the sweet spot. In my room the do their best there. Without them I losing both perspective and resolution. Just three of them in this picture...
