G2 is great. Bill is consistent in saying two g2's are much better than one G1.
Incidentally, I have an extra g2 that is only a few months old if someone is around the SF area. |

the suckout around 150 hz is troublesome. I would work to minimize that suckout by moving the speakers or the seating position before I worried about the sub. That suckout is going to make wooden body instruments sound a tad lean. Also the male voice is not going to be right. I had a suckout like that once that was corrected with a Sigtec and it made a world of difference in the sound of acoustic guitars. I no longer have the Sigtec and I have to work with speaker placement to minimize that simular problem. Nice gear! Nice work! Enjoy. Ken

Clever Metaphacts,
I gave Sumiko a hoy the other day to ask you which RELs would work well with Focal 1028Be. Paul was very knowledgeable but I would be very interested in your thoughts, (and others). I don't know whether this is a primary or secondary consideration. I am considering stereo subs in a room with 3500 cu ft adjoining 2500 cu ft separated by a half wall. Primarily home theatre with some music. Moving towards 2 channel. Not a bassaholic persay but have been told the RELs in particular can help the definition of the main speakers with the high level connection. Thinking of getting a Pass Labs Int-30A down the track in case that affects your decision matrix. Thanks Steve |
