Terry.....wow, that's quite a compliment. Thank you! It's been a lot of fun, and the Crown Distinction series system is a rig I've wanted to own ever since when. The best gear ever produced by Crown IMO.

Amazing Pete! When I was in grade nine (age 14) I drew up and built the rack I now use.Even had separate components in the drawing when all I had was a receiver.The shop teacher was not amused by the amount of white pine it consumed.

Wayne....for many of us, this is a life long hobby for sure. I know it has been for me. The record cabinet and turntable platform in my living room system
have been with me since I was a junior in High School in 1976, when I built them in wood shop.

Today I purchased a Samsung 5500 series 32" Smart TV to replace the monster Sony CRT television that once resided with the system.
I also sprung for an HD box for this room to get the most from the HDTV. Gone also is the Toshiba DVD/VCR combo and in its place is my
Integra DBS-30.1 which had been in temporary retirement. In my travels today two fairly decent HDMI cables (9' long) and an Audioquest
Evergreen 1/8" mini plug to RCA plug audio interconnect for the TV audio found their way into my shopping basket. I also replaced my massive
land line phone with a much more compact wireless handset phone to make room for the HD box.

Here's how things are progressing:
















I'm very pleased with the Samsung smart TV....it's nice to have HDTV in this room now, and although I could view my BR discs on my PC, I'm pleased to
have a BR player in the mix with the HDTV on the Crown system. Things are shaping up....the next step will be the addition of the walnut cases for the DL-2 and EQ-2.
