Okay, the time finally came when I could not make any further excuses for not reevaluating this latest set from DK.
As a note prior to going on, my copy as I mentioned has a "D" label on LP #2 on both sides. So, that is a mix up and should it be a one-of-a-kind rarity, the first $1M takes it. I started out with side A, song 1 naturally and maybe it is that song and the entire side that disagreed with me. It starts out with a song titled "We Just Couldn't Say Goodbye." As the SME spun, I kept thinking and imagined a group of 5 year olds sitting on the floor around Howdy Doodie or Captain Rogers and tilting their heads to the left & then to the right in rhythm of a theme song on the title. Hey DK, the better title is "We Just Couldn't Say Goodby Fast Enough." The 2d song is a little to much turn of the twentieth century for me. Too vaudeville-ish and so, is the remainder of side A. Side B -- no change. I did enjoy side C & D to a degree. Infact, played both those sides twice. On side D, Howard Coward hollars in the background like a 20th century circus sideman -- and IMO, that could have been aleviated & not necessary -- but, he's HC & who am I. They suckered me into this LP based on her past performances, etc., but I learn quickly and won't be so fast to pounch on the next release (which I hope doesn't follow in this direction which if it is, future releases, like this one are headed to the landfill, IMO) Best Bob

Ive listened to this LP 6 times now and i love it.........I must say it does go in a diff direction then her previous work, but i still really enjoyed it......
Her voice to me on this LP is her classic "Sound" as usual, but with diff songs/style that we are not used to and for some that is to much ,but overall i am very happy i have the CD and LP copies |

I'm liking this more and more. I had a lot of drive time yesterday and streamed it via MOG/iphone to the car's stereo.
The iphone screen blanks out to save battery from time to time. I felt a little naughty waking it up with my thumb, given the cover art was still displayed: |

I love the cover.
I'm NOT sure about the music tho.
