Default Cooks Venture Chicken.

I have been ordering chicken from Cooks Venture this year. Fantastic chicken on the grill or any other way you like your chicken.

If you don’t mind paying a bit more for top notch flavor, I would highly suggest Cooks Venture and their chickens.

I have insisted on organic chicken for the past decade or longer because the state of commercial chicken is just sad.

Whole Foods organic chicken is good but the texture and taste of Cooks Venture chicken is on another level.

More than 99% of the chicken consumed in America is one of two breeds — the Cobb 500 or the Ross 308.

These bow-legged and sickly chickens are cheap and easy to grow, but the meat doesn’t have as many omega-3s and breasts are prone to a woody texture.

In addition, over 70% of the total use of antibiotics globally are used in livestock, which leads directly to antibiotic resistance in people.

So what do you do?

To enjoy chicken guilt-free, you need the highest-quality source possible - and we’ve found it.

This chicken comes from a special farm in northwest Arkansas known for producing the highest quality chicken in America.

These birds are slow-growth, heritage breeds that are verified pasture-raised, verified non-GMO, verified no-antibiotics ever, air chilled, and raised in a regenerative farming system which means it’s better for the bird, better for the environment, and better for you!

There is so much propaganda about the foods we eat, especially in the US. Chicken is no exception. Here's a guy who reveals the truth.

This coming from a guy who now owns half the farm lands on the US soil... The motivation is starting to become clearer.

Bill Gates articulated his point in a recent interview with MIT Tech Review in which he said: “I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef.

“You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.

“Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand.”

Thanks Serge. I’ll check them out. One of things I first noticed traveling in Europe was the chicken was way better there. Smaller birds, smaller breast portions, overall tastier with a superior texture. The grocery store chicken we get here in the US is pure garbage.

We have amped up our support for local growers and farmers. Their product is far superior, the cost is similar, and we know who we are dealing with.

Tom, this is about as good as I’ve ever tasted a chicken. Cooks Venture now offers Angus beef which I ordered recently and I have not seen or tasted this quality of meat in decades.

As a child, I spent a lot of time in the country where my grandparents raised chickens as well as keeping a nice size garden and a small orchard. I know what organic fruit and vegetables should taste like. Eggs were collected warm every morning and chicken graced the dinner table quite often. We have ventured far, far, away from the organic taste, texture, quality of fruit, vegetables, poultry and meat in the last few decades.

There must be a reason Bill Gates has snapped up nearly half of the farm land in the USA. Let’s hope he has good intentions.... He who controls the food supply, well you know...
