Default WA speaker covers

Do any WA owners have the optional speaker covers offered by Wilson? If so, please elaborate on the quality and the type of material used. Another question, any Acoustic Diode footers user? Again, if so, I would like feedback. Thank you.

Not sure what you mean by "optional speaker covers." Are you referring to the grills or the protective covers WA sells on their website? I do have the WA speaker covers which are made of some type of synthetic material. They're well made, cover the speaker like a cape and will protect it from dust but not cushion it from any "bumps" (e.g. from a vacuum cleaner). I also have the Acoustic Diodes on my DAW but cannot comment on how they compare to the stock footers since the speaker came with the AD footers. They do look cool though!

Thank you. Yes, the optional covers. You answered my unknowns about them.

If you want to read more about the Acoustic Diode, there's a review in The Audio Beat from July 2022.

Thank you. I have read that review. With my engineering background I am skeptical yet hopeful at the same time. I did order them.

Yes, I did get the acoustic diodes. I did not have a listen prior to the addition of the upgraded feet so I honestly cannot comment on the effectiveness/improvement of these over the standard diodes. Basically paid a bit above dealer cost so I could be able to easily recover the cost if I decided to sell the ADs.
