I'd be in trouble if I lived anywhere near them. A great store, and I'm sure you'll be headed back next time you have an itch for Mac gear (or anything else they sell that interests you).
prepress, Yes same address, they are a great store. I have known my dealer who is not the owner and also the owner for years. The amps arrived on Tuesday and were installed on Thursday am. I am fortunate that they sell my gear: Wilson, McIntosh, and Audio Quest. I was the first XVX they ever sold. I think they have sold 2 or 3 since. They sell a lot of Mac but my 3500's are the first.

I can't explain it but I knew I had to have them. I've never had any interest in tubes for 40 years. I bought them the day I heard about them 11/15/2021.

They make a gorgeous sound, not what I expected. It you have a system on the analytical side and you want more warmth, bloom, or treble roll off, don't look here. These babies have dynamism and slam in spades. They are incredibly powerful, muscular, visceral. They handle the XVX with supreme ease. They are quick. They have remarkable pace. They are neutral. They are a perfect match for the XVX.

I think with the 3500's you experience what solid silver IC's, cords, and speaker cables can truly deliver; an amazingly resolved, delicate, neutral presentation, with great soundstage width, depth, and beautiful vocals perfect in height and presence, neither forward or recessed, and never burn the ears. Vocals have amazing resolution.

Best

Charles

...p.s. If you haven't heard there're being shipped by early next week you need to call your dealer and have him check the order. My dealer has a specific contact at Mac. Yours should too.
He's on my contact list for this coming Tuesday.

That looks impressive Charles - how many months wait time, 5? Just trying to get a benchmark on my 1502. Congratulations on your new amps, and patience.

miner, thank you so much! My invoice in which I paid a 50% down payment the day I heard about the amps was 11/15/2021.

As I have mentioned not to impress but simply a fact, my information concerning wait times is 100% reliable. Wait times are diminishing. If you haven't received your gear, call your dealer.

Best

Thank you so much Rick. I have been reading the thread concerning the Wavelet, the Valor and Aeris with interest. In addition to having great bass and resolution, these amps are quite liquid. It's great to be retired and have a little money. However, things are changing. I will probably acquire the new Wilson stereo crossover, then give about 50% of it away to charity and live on the remainder. This will occur over time, but I have sequestered the money. It's about a 1.5 million. The rest goes to my son.

Honestly, I have purchased about all the gear I need. I'm 73 and heading for eternity. So expect no large purchases from me in the future. I'm done. I'm blessed

Best

Charles

Hi Charles - That is an amazing looking system. I’ll bet it sounds even better than it looks. Congrats on the 3500’s, and many years of happy listening!
