If you are asking if the Everest will help all I can say it is a nice improvement over the Denali 6000T. I am waiting on delivery of a Sigma XC to replace replace my current Alpha HC. I am not sure how much of a boost I will get from this swap. In the future I will be moving to a Sigma v2 NR for my DAC.

Jim, that will be a very nice boost indeed with the Sigma XC for the PD. Should have the Everest working optimal and settling in during the first 2 weeks.

It's going to be a noticeable "boost".

Yes. In a big way. You'll find out soon enough.

I wonder why the new cables can't do what the old ones do ... I don't want to lose the deepest reverbs that occur in the alpha V1. I feel that warming up won't help. If they can't show it, then Everest won't help either.

Hi Greg, you specified your old V1 cable setup but you don't mention an XC to wall for the new setup? What are you trialling so far from the new range and how long have they settled in?
