B&W upgrade policy.
Somewhere on this forum, I have read that a B&W dealer would give almost full credit in a trade-up situation. Example, 802D to 800D.
Did I understand that right? I live in Florida. |

I think I remember my dealer telling me that when I purchased my 802d's, but I am note sure.

I think that would depend on the dealer unless B&W has a factory sponsored program like that. I get full trade in value with my dealer on speakers but I have to move vertically, not laterally.

I was able to trade my CM1s in at my dealer when I moved up to 804S, and they gave me full price on both speakers and stands. I was told that the only requirement is that I upgrade to something at least twice the price of the trade-in.
Kind of wish I'd kept the CM1s, though. Great little speakers.

I'm pretty sure upgrade policies are set by the dealer.
