Best Charles p.s. I'll be lacing up at about 8:10 pm cst tomorrow. I expect I'll do it next to Chris. He is so good. His skates are identical to mine in every respect, except the toe stops. He's from Detroit and has been skating all his life. I think the Snyder plate a bit heavy so I'm going to try a modern plate. Chris says never to switch from Snyders. He employs huge toe stops. I'm going to cut mine down even more. I identify with Antonio in skating style. Last edited by Charles; 02-13-2022 at 01:39 AM. |

Hi Charles. Great photo's from beginning to this point. What a major set of upgrades you've done to your system. I can only imagine the sound.
I'm glad you have such a fine hobby in both audio and skating. I used to love roller skating when I was much younger. Sadly all the rinks around here have long ago closed down just like all the good bowling alleys. Keep fit, keep active and keep listening. BTW, you look good in those pics.

Freddie, I can tell you have a sense of humor like Ivan. High end audio is all about enjoyment. I enjoy my music immensely.
No falls last night. No front wheel skating until I shorten my toe stops again which will happen today. Worked on flexibility and technic for 2+ hours. I bench press 200 pounds each leg on a device I call the butt buster. I go around the house balancing on one leg with each knee bent at about maybe 20 degrees. I can do this "forever". I flex to 180 degrees like sitting on the commode that isn't there and hold it for over a minute. I'm old but I don't feel old. I feel like I'm about 20 but I know I'm not. I can still hear pretty well. I've always been a physical fitness absolute nut. My vision is perfect. I see better than I did 20-30 years ago and I have zero arthritis. I never get a sore joint or muscle. I get muscle cramps in the legs. It's a true blessing. I eat a meticulous diet, one meal per day and I almost never eat out. I weigh twice daily and do 5 hours of treadmill and gym 4 days a week, skate the other 3; Tuesday, Friday, Sunday nights. Best Charles p.s. Last night at about 10 pizza went to a dollar a piece. Oh man! What a temptation. I love pizza. Correct eating is the key to good health. 4-5% body fat, 144.5-148 pounds. It's amazing how much my weight varies throughout my day.
