I don't know about you guys but these components to me look like they can be the basis of a very satisfying smaller, secondary system or as great introductory products to the world of high-end audio at an affordable price point. Good for TEAC/Esoteric

Cyril.......For the small price of $3337.00 for all four of these components, this package is a genuine bargain in my opinion. I have a feeling these four Teac components and a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers for $1700.00 would make a tremendous $5K system. That's a lot of high tech performance for a small price. I bet this four piece Teac stack and the Klipsch Heresy speakers could rock a room real good.

Dan...I think that's absolutely right. We often get swept up in gear that costs more assuming it must sound better or must be better than cheaper alternatives (and often that's true) but we forget that there is true high-end audio performance to be had at very reasonable/affordable prices. It would be interesting to pair this stack up with a bunch of different speakers and see how it acquits itself against gear that costs 2-3X its price

PS: I have no idea if the TEAC gear in fact sounds good or not but it sure as hell packs a lot for its asking price (features/functionality/build quality/etc...).

Well, guys and girls, I really like this forum so I decided to join. My favorite topic is the "post a picture, photograph, etc" in the general off topic forum, the photographs (most of them) are beautiful. Now that I joined, do I get a prepaid trip to Ivan's place to look at his beautiful set-ups?
Also, how do I get a quote on the Teac? I know there is a store associated with the forum but I can't remember what it is, maybe somebody could point me in the right direction. Thanks
