Listening to another MFSL Jazz LP

Earl Klugh - Late Night Guitar

This is a really nice, gentle record that I've listened to many times. Great sound, huge soundstage and excellent imaging.

Earl Klugh excels on this recording. Very nice orchestra backing him up.

I wish all records were pressed as well as the ones from MMJ...just stellar.
+1
The Music Matters reissues are the best and most reliable Ive seen. The Eric Dolphy one I posted above is such an issue.

Now listening to one of my favorite artists, Bill Evans. My wife gave me the Riverside Recordings (11 albums) from Analogue Productions on 45 RPM LP for Christmas.

Smile Classical and Jazz all in one place!

You reckon for a classical and jazz music lover this may be the best of all worlds?

Listening to The Modern Jazz Quartet - Blues on Bach - An Atlantic LP

Some of Bach's greatest hits played by one of the finest jazz quartets - makes for an enjoyable hour or so of fun listening.

Recorded in 1974 - and played dozens of times by me since that time

Have you the Modern Jazz Quartet's "Collaboration" with Laurindo Almeida (Atlantic 1429)? They do the Adagio from Rodrigo's "Concierto de Arajuez." It's really pretty good.
