Paul-

I have 2 JL F-113 subs mated with Sonus Faber Amati Homage's. I had a Sumiko trained tech dial everything in. I can't tell you how great it sounds - now I have the bass I was missing before. I have no interest moving up to Strads or the new gen of SF with how things sound. Find yourself someone that is factory trained. You will not be disappointed......yes, it rocks!

On that same note, would Lilium play louder than Strads (given proper power)?

Answering my own question... I auditioned Lillium and it can play bigger and louder than Strads, but not by very much. Lilium produces that "concert level" sound more than Strads. One interesting thing is Lilium plays same loudness at noticeably lower volume setting than Strads. This is using same pre/amp combo. Both are rated 92db, but it appears Lilium may be easier to drive.
