Default Need some speakers

I need some help trying to find some speakers. Keep in mind my top dollar is $1500. I am not asking for anyones opinion as to what they think sounds the best, just some brands to look at since I have not looked at speakers in many years. I am running a MX130 with a 7150 amp. Very small lively room. Mostly blues, jazz, country, and classic rock. No heavy metal

Thx

Assuming bookshelves since a small room? Any size restrictions or cosmetic needs?

not necessarily bookshelves. If bookshelf speakers would need stands. Currently have a pair of Linn Keilidh's which are a floor standing 11wx12dx36h. Not really a color or material preference. One brand I am currently looking into is a used pair of Sonus Faber. Thx

In your price range, Sonus faber Lumina series are very nice. I’d also consider Rega, Monitor Audio, Klipsch and Elac.

What used Sf are you looking at?

I would also recommend checking out the Lumina series if looking at SF.

I know of a local pair of Chameleon T. He is asking 1400 but I think he would take a little less

Besides the SF Lumina, I would also check out Arendal Sound. For your price range, the 1961 series.
Other options, Wharfedale, Dali, Dynaudio, would be another options.
For something different, Magnepan or Martin Logan ESLs (may be a little over budget).

The Chameleon T is a very nice speaker. It has a front port, so might be easier to place in a small room. If you can get them for the right price, I’d give them serious consideration.
