Default My new MX-Rs

I am making some pretty dramatic changes to my 2 channel setup...new MX-Rs are in the house. I know ideally you want to change one component of your system at a time to get a feel for the changes...I didn't follow that rule...

I luv the casework:

Up on blocks:

So far I am luvving what I am hearing!
More to follow...I will be posting a member setup with everything in place...

Cheers!

Congratulations Mike. They look beautiful. What preamp are you using? I had the KX-R and it was a superb performer. I think if I had mated it with the MX-R's, I'd still have it. Enjoy!

Thanks!

I am mixing it with my McIntosh C500t, last piece of Mc I have currently...I thought the slight tube flavour of the C500t would mix well with the MX-Rs...so far so good!

Wow I just saw the speakers and now this! I listened to some Ayre gear this past week; I'm sure they will sound great with all of your other new pieces .

Ok, I am officially flabbergasted: Esoteric, Dynaudio and now Ayre all in one swoop. Mike, you are my new personal hero!

Mike, congrats on the MX-R's! Great choice, very musical and engaging amps. Just don't go auditioning them with the KX-R, it won't leave your house! Enjoy!

Thanks guys...thought it would be fun to save it all up...

Good advice Serge, if the KX_R is as good as everyone says it would be dangerous!
