Hi,
Just curious where you set your bass crossover on your 802D3’s.

I don't know. It is automagically be done by the App and the DB2D.
(They both geht the full signal.)

Here on the good old S7.
nope, room eq still does not work on Android (as Android phones have lots of different mics inside)

Nope, this is 100% wrong and 100% BS.

It works perfect with Android. And it does several sweeps. First step: Put the phone directly on the Sub, so the App measures the capability of mic two times.

Stop posting this wrong crap.

I’ve no doubt your combo sounds awesome. It just seems way out of the OP’s budget (802’s vs 805s).

For probably much less than a pair of 805 d3s I’d have my Cremonas and keep the change. I’d even have money to spare for a sub if I wanted.

I’m certainly not anti B&W as my 800s sing with pride downstairs.

I’m just really surprised at what the SF Cremonas deliver—-

Best speaker I’ve heard under $10k...(and used you can be 1/2 that)—-

Of course. It was just to relativate the "no need for a Sub".

no it doesnt. Contrary to IPHONE, there are many different mics inside Android phones so it was impossible to parametrize this in the menu.
The ROOMEQ function does not show up with most of ANDROID phones.
This is a known "problem". I had the confirmation from BW Europe.

Happy with the DB2 though (after installing it with IPHONE)

when I bought subwoofer it took me 2 months to find this out => I didnt laugh very much
At that moment there was no information or technical support about this "problem". But good to be informed now about S7 working fine with ROOMEQ (which is VERY important as minor changes in position have big impact).
BW should publish a list of android phones that work with roomeq.

I recently picked up some pre-owned Sonus Faber Cremonas and I’m absolutely blown away by the sound. (I have a McIntosh MAC6700 integrated for the Cremonas).

If you are willing to deviate from B&W you should check out some SF towers.

I have a pretty large room that has 18’ vaulted ceilings and opens up to a large kitchen. It’s a tough room.

I feel zero need to even have a subwoofer, which is shocking (I love bass). I cannot imagine how much better these would sound in a better room.

My secondary system sounds good even when compared to my main rig, which is anchored by B&W Signature 800’s and McIntosh separates.

Had I heard this SF/McIntosh combination I have in the secondary system first, I’d have never spent the money I did assembling my main rig.

Just a thought for your consideration.
I am wanting to get away from floorstanders in my family room - been eying stand mounts for some time now, although, I would consider the 803D3. I do have Cremona Auditor Ms in my room upstairs and have thoroughly enjoyed them.
