You might recall Dad worked for ALCO so instead of learning sports teams, stats, etc...I learned about trains and big bands,..much more enjoyable :-) !!!

I do remember you telling me that ! and with that being said, our family of railroads has what I believe to be the largest Alco roster in the country - 37. Not to mention our CMO, Donny 'C', 'the Alco Doctor' !

I agree that’s pretty cool - here’s a question, the was an engine in the front and one in the back - how do they synchronize speed, push and pull and more so how did the synchronize back in the day?
